What are normalisation primers for the rt-PCR? - Im going to order the mirVana rt-PCR kit for miRNAs (Dec/10/2008 )

I have to order a kit for rt-PCR of reversely transcribed miRNAs and apparently i have to order normalisation primers for it. What do I need them for exactly? Are they like a loading control??

I have no idea about this so please forget my stupidity

Yes, you can order either U6 or U48 as controls. However, U48 is more stable (less variations) among samples.
