Please forgive such a basic question:

How do I get .01 M Acetic Acid from Glacial Acetic Acid, USP? Please give the steps and measurements.

glacial acetic acid is 17.4M.

you should be able to calculate the rest from here (c1v1=c2v2).

hmmm, the spec sheet says it's 60.05 M...

the formula weight of acetic acid is 60.05 gm/mole. the concentration of glacial acetic acid is 17.4M (1044.87gm/liter).
