Griess Assay reagents - Expiry date? (Nov/24/2008 )
We make up the Greiss reagents in our lab from scratch. I was just wondering if these reagents have a expiry date? It could take us months to get through the amount of reagent we make up at a time - is there a point at which we should throw them out and make up a fresh batch?
Thanks guys!

If you make up solutions A and B from powder then they should last approximately 6 months. You can easily tell when they go off because your linear dose response curve will go from a perfect R square of 1 ....to less than 0.90. The individual chemicals will last for at least 10 years.....are's have

6 months! Wow! Thats brilliant thanks! And good point about the std curve - I must keep an eye on my R squares!
