Is it possible to trak the source of email and know the sender or not/

Yes, at least to some extent.

It is fairly easy to track down the sending mail server's IP address. After that, it gets more complicated than I can do, but I believe that computer types can narrow it down further.

yes lolita, everything is trackable on the internet. ip address, internet provider, name of computer, type of operating system, and may other things. if you have problems stop this kind of "blackmail" or whatever you're pretending to do and talk to a person in charge instead.

unless it is for romantic purposes.... then the receiver could decide whether he/she looks further down for the info but most probably the email will go to the junk and will never receive it.
