Mixed glia - enough time to adhere? - (Nov/14/2008 )

I use rat primary mixed glial cells and usually after plating on 24-well plates (coated with poly-l) I leave them for ~3 days before changing the media. This week though I had to change the media the next day ~24hours after plating. Is this enough time for the cells to adhere? I'm worried that I've wasted a preparation by changing the media too soon!
