protein extraction from mouse brain tissue - (Nov/11/2008 )

Good morning to all
I'd want to ask if someone could give me a protocol for proteins extraction from different brain regions (cerebrum, cerebellum, brain stem) for their subsequent western blot analysis

AquaRNA protocol is good to extract proteins for Western blot. Just homogenize the brain tissue in AquaRNA solution, add one volume isopropanol, spin to remove DNA/RNA, take protein containing supernatant and precipitate proteins in 4 volumes of acetone.
