0.5% triton X-100 in ELISA - (Nov/10/2008 )
Hi,
I have homogenized mouse lungs in PBS+0.5% Triton x-100 + protease inhibitors. Now i get a very low signal in a TNF-alpha ELISA. Could this be due to the triton? Moreover, should i use a Tris based buffer instead of PBS?
Kind regards

this is more a question of trial and error due to an improvement of the protocol...
