beta amyloid - (Nov/04/2008 )

Hi,
I need a filter to get ride of beta-amyloid. My sample is the media from SH-SY5Y where I added beta-amyloid 1-42 peptides. Now I need to get ride of this beta amyloid because I need to use this "conditionated" media for other porpose. I would appreciate if somebody knows either a filter either a column able to filter peptides smaller than, lets say, 100 KDa. Thanks a lot.

What about dialysis?

Affinity chromatography would be an alternative. Try a C8 or C18 column initially (manufacturers would advice more on conditions). Literature would tell you what compound to use in the column.
