Making GST Fusion proteins - (Oct/22/2001 )

I am looking for a good protocol and some decent background information on how to make GST fusion proteins.What's involved, the amount of time it takes to make such things. Etc. I know very little about them, only what they can be used for.

Amersham Pharmacie sells quite a few GST fusion vectors so all you have to do is clone your fragment into the vector. There are also a bunch of GST purification kits out there to use.
