superscript indirect cDNA labeling system - superscriptIII, cDNA purification, microarray, free amines (Oct/28/2008 )

Hi all,
i have superscript indirect cDNA labeling system, from invitrogen.i read that Qiagen QIAquick PCR purification kit is not recommended for the cDNA purification for microarray, cause it has free amines that compete with the Cy dyes coupling reaction. is that true also with invitrogen' kit. do i need to use the kit plus modified reagent that have modified phosphate buffer.
thanks

I use the Qiagen MinElute Kit. Also if you look on this website from the TIGR institue:

http://pfgrc.jcvi.org/index.php/microarray/protocols.html

Download the Microbial RNA Aminoallyl Labeling protocol. In that protocol they also use the MinElute kit but they replace some of the buffers with self made buffers.

You can either switch to the MinElute kit and replace their buffers with the one from TIGR or you try to use their buffers with your kit.
