Egels- cutting out bands - (Oct/22/2008 )

Hi,

Was just wondering if anyone else using the Egels from Invitrogen.

I have only just started using them, and found them quite good, but I can't seem to find a good way to open them up so I can cut out bands for sequencing.

Though someone who uses them regularly might have a good tip.

the manual (for agarose egels) says to use an egel opener.
