Thanks for posting those citations. The paper from JI was in fact the same paper to which I was referring.

I haven't had a chance to read the other article in any great detail, but looking at the abstract it seems pretty interesting. I know that the NK-like DC subset is still very controversial in mice so it would not surprise me if this population was met with heavy criticism in humans. Also, there have been many descriptions of DCs from cancer patients with several NK cell markers (including CD56), so perhaps this is a bona-fide DC subset.
