intra-assay and inter-assay coefficient of variation - how to calculate (Oct/09/2008 )

Could someone please post the formulas and explainations for these? I have done some basic ELISA assays and now I need to calculate these based on my control samples I included with each run. Thanks!

If I remember correctly from my previous use of an in-house RIA, these are calculated as SD/mean expressed as a percentage. In other words, the SD of your control samples divided by the mean of your control samples x 100. In our hands, a CV of 10% or less was our target for these values.

Good luck!
