whts the difference between intro and lit review? - help!!!! (Oct/09/2008 )

Hi there;

Just would like to know how to differentiate between intro and also lit review??? Im writing my masters thesis and im kind of lost in the matter.....

Pls enlighten my thoughts....

an intorduction is a kind of review but focus on selected papers that are important for your work/thesis; the introduction should sensitize the reader for the topic and the open questions, to which you like to present some answers; so you will not offer all aspects to your topic to find in the literature but which are relevant to understand your goal...
