BD Invasion Chamber - (Oct/02/2008 )
Hello,
I have some problems with the BD Invasion Chamber: it doesn't work and I don't know why.
I used the AC1-M59 cell line (it's an invasive cell line): I put 300 000 cells in the upper part of the chamber and 10% FCS in the lower part and after 22 hours the cells didn't move to the other side of the membrane.
What should I do in a different way?
Thanks!

I am not familiar with your cells, so I can only answer in general:
Check the pore size: can your cells pass the pores?
Add an attractant to the lower chamber, commonly a suitable coating...
use 24 h to standardize your protocol
