transfecting human lymphoblastoid cells - (Sep/21/2008 )

Hi
Does anyone have any experience of transfecting human lymphoblastoid cell lines? I have tried various lipid transfection reagents (lipofectamine 2000/LTX, Fugene and jetPEI) and cant get much above 2% transfection efficiency. I was thinking of trying electroporation or Calcium phosphate methods. Any advice would be very gratefully received!!

I am also transfecting human T cell line with lipofectamine 2000 and Reagent. Efficiency is very very low! Trying!

I've had a go electroporating, MUCH better than lipofectamine but you need lots of cells (10 million per transfection!).
