RFP <> dsRed? - (Sep/17/2008 )

What is dsRed compared to RFP? Equivalent? Enhanced? ...? Can't find anything about this - all resources talk about it as "RFP/dsRed"?

RFP means "Red Fluorescent Protein" and that can mean any red fluorescent protein around. (www.evrogen.com; www.clontech.com are some providers of different red fluorescent proteins). Which one to choose depends on the application (does your protein need to be photostable, monomeric, fast-folding, bright, ...).

But another question arises from this. Against which type of RFP would this antibody be...? :

There's an "inquire here" button on that page. Probably your safest bet.
