Weak Anion exchange chromatography DEAE - (Sep/08/2008 )

Dear ALL,

I woud like to purify the two proteins (pI 8.2 and 10.6) by weak anion exchange chromatography. At pH 7, as i Know, one is more positively charged and the other one is less positively charged.

I know like to know which one would elute first??

neither should bind to anion exchanger (the pI 8.2 protein might bind weakly), use a cation exchanger, then the pI 8.2 protein should elute first (less charged than pI 10.6 protein at pH 7).

I will pick cation exchanger for better separation of the two.
