Different between Protein A and G beads - (Jul/21/2008 )

I like to know what is the difference between the protein A and G beads..is it make difference in purification efficiency.....

Protein A and G have different binding specificities for IgG and other abs. They also differ among animal species and subclasses bound. Pierce/Thermo Fisher should have downloadable information or package insert comparing protein A, G and also A/G. I hope this helps.
