dialysis - (Jul/21/2008 )
hi all,
just a quick question i have a protein of 22kda i wish to dialysis. i have tubing which says it will retain molecular weight 12,000 or greater. will this work i presume the MW is in Da??
any ideas?
thanks!

Usually, you want the cutoff to be about 1/3 the MWt of your protein for maximal retention, but 12 KDa cutoff for a 22 kDa protein should still be good.
