LPS receptors on neutrophil surface - (Jun/19/2008 )

Hi! i know that a receptor which recognise LPS is the Toll-Like receptor 4. Is there any other receptor that recognise LPS? i'd like to know the trasduction pathway that lead to the degranulation...

CD14 - not involved in signal transduction.

Also see link no.3 here: http://search.vadlo.com/b/q?sn=158621799&a...ptor+&rel=0
For degranulation, see these lectures: http://search.vadlo.com/b/q?sn=158621799&a...ction&rel=2

i know that it isn't involved in common signal trasduction, but i know that degranulation in neutrophil could be triggered by some kinds of GPCRs (like for IL-8 and fMLP) so i guess if one of these receptor can recognise LPS, and maybe trigger an intracellular calcium increase or also activation of some kinases...
