demonstrating combinatorial effects.... - any ideas? please help! thanks... (Jun/11/2008 )

Hi, I have made a device for cell assay, and I want to demosntrate the combined effect of 2 or 3 compounds on cells.
I was thinking of either

-treat cells with hydrogen peroxide and some other molecules that can reduce the effect of hydrogen peroxide...? any suggestions on what molecules i can use?
or
-treat cells with non-toxic level of sapnonin and some other toxins and see if saponin can enhance the effect of that toxin...

any suggestions on what compounds i can use ..or any other simple experiments i can try to show the combintorial effects? thanks alot!

Sounds like a homework problem or you aren't explaining yourself well.

To reduce the effects of H2O2, add a PARP inhibitor.

Thanks,
Can you give me the link of the paper that talks about PARP inhibitor treatment and reduction of H2O2 effect?

Here's one, but really, you can search pubmed as easily as the rest of us.

saponin makes cells leaky: there it will be toxic at higher concentrations...
