Concentrating antibodies - (Jun/09/2008 )
Hi!
I need to concentrate my (purified) rabbit pAbs, but I just don't know exactly how to do this.
Can I just salt them out, dialyze, etc. ?
Thanks in advance

You can use a column. I used a PD-10(?) column. Sorry I can't remember the details!

Many possibilities you can either filtrate through a Vivaspin a spin device from Sartorius or use an Amicon concentrator if you have large volumes
You can also use very old methods like PEG concentation or others, here are lots of info

Simplest way is with devices from Millipore (various concentration devices)
If you have small pore dialysis tubing you can do vacuum dialysis (pull out the fluid) or place the tubing in a bed of dry sephadex and wrap with aluminium foil...this will pull out the buffer.
