Best websites that provide several bioinformatics tools or links? - Bioinformatics tool websites? (Jun/04/2008 )

Hi All,

Our group is in the "ramping up" phase of doing quite a bit of bioinformatics research, and I was interested in seeing what sites people use for their "go to" source for a well-organized set of tools. I am interested in PCR and qPCR tools (primique is nice), BLAST-like tools, Clustal analysis, and other phylogenetic tools. What I am looking for is a "one-stop shopping" website that links these tools together in a logical conceptual framework.

Years ago, I used the Pedro's BioMolecular Research Tools website [comprehensive, but somewhat unwieldy], and this BIOFORUM site certainly has some great tools - but I wanted to ask this community if there are powerful websites that you like that you use - and that you'd recommend.

Thanks much,

I would strongly suggest that you check the EBI web site - they have a vast amount of all types of tools in a tree like structure.
