Having trouble answering this question efficiently and thoroughly: Describe the relationship between magnesium and calcium in body cells? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

hm of course i have no idea what this question is driving at but i guess its about ion transport channels.

both mg and ca have ion transport channels. so what would happen if a mg ion happens to bind to a ca channel?
i hope i pushed you in the right direction with this.
