RNA isolation from small amounts of cells - (Apr/28/2008 )

dear all,

Can we isolate RNA from only 100.000 -200.000 cells? I have tried it before with Trizol, but it yields phenol peak (270), with the ratio 260/280 = 1.56 and 260/230 = 0.19 (very very poor!). I have added glicogen to help visualizing/precipitate..but still it didnt work...

Would somebody help me
