MLN cell isolation....Help! - (Apr/22/2008 )

Oh my Gosh! Does someone know how many cells you can get from Mesenteric Lymph Nodes? I have no idea what number I am looking for after isolation and I keep hearing completely different things from diferent sources and I can't stabilize the number of cells I isolate. Now I am just ready to pull my hair out!!

Well it all depend of which type of cells you're talkin about are you talking of T Cells ? B cells ? it is also dependent of which type of mouse you gonna analyse Rag or Nude have basically no T and B cells .

I never worked on anything than transgenic mice but From a normal mouse i think you should get more than 105 cells /LN
