Hepa1-6 transfection? - What do you use? What is/is not working? (Apr/22/2008 )

Hi,

I want to transfect Hepa1-6 cells (mouse hepatoma), but I can't really find an appropriate protocol. I tried one CaPO3 protocol that has been published with these cells and it's somehow working but the efficiency is very, very low...

Any experience?

I haven't transfected those particular cells personally but I would recommend FuGene 6 from Roche. I found it easy to use and fast.

Thanks! I also find it easier to use compared to others - you don't need serum-free medium.

Anybody compared several transfection protocols with Hepa, for instance FuGENE Vs Lipofectamine?
