LCM embedding medium - (Apr/21/2008 )

Hello,

Does anyone know if the embedding medium for tissues needs to be RNase free if I want to perform RNA isolation on the captured cells?
We usually use a self prepared solution of 2% methocel in water for cryosections.
I can't find anything about it. Is O.C.T usually RNase free?
