Bulk download human genome of Celera Assembly - (Apr/14/2008 )
Does anyone know where I can bulk download human genome of Celera Assembly. It is already available on NCBI website, but is is not available on NCBI ftp site yet. So far the newest version of human genome in ftp site is hg18.
Thank you very much.
Hi,
have you tried www.ensembl.org/index.html or www.ddbj.nig.ac.jp/.
Thank you very much.
ftp://ftp.ncbi.nih.gov/genomes/H_sapiens/...ed_chromosomes/
Now is hs_build.36.3.

Thanks genenformics. You are really informative. The sequence had been uploaded on Apr.24 2008. And you know it on Apr. 23 2008.
BTW, what is different between the three sets of assemblies, Alt_Celera, Alt_HuRef, and ref?

Except HuRef, sequences of other assemblies have been stored in 'current' directory for 2 yrs.
Ref: assembly of public domain.
Alt_Celera: Celera assembly
Alt_HuRef: Craig Venter's genome
