Easy-Blue for RNA extraction - (Mar/24/2008 )
Hye everyone~
Juz now I got one more problem. I've been given Easy-Blue total RNA extraction kit to extract my protozoan sample. however, surprisingly after adding up the 200ul chloroform and centrifuged it the upper layer was blue color (which is protein) and lower layer is transparent (which is RNA). According to the manual, the upper layer is RNA (transparent color) and lower layer is blue color (protein). What had happened to my sample? The separation separated unwell?? Pls...help me...

i think that something went wrong in your centrifugation. Check your brakes and accelarator. its just a phase inversion.
