Cochran-Armitage trend test software - Any free online calculator/tutorial (Mar/18/2008 )
hello everyone.
i am working with biallelic SNPs and by going through papers of similar study designs i have come to the understanding that i should apply Cochran-Armitage trend test on the results. However the links i found on the internet while searching info on the test are toooooooo complicated. i just wana if there is any online calculator/ software for this statistical test available. i have SPSS 13 but i could not find this tests there? there is a chochran Q test though. is it the same?

I had a colleague who used this test with R (http://www.r-project.org/). The prgram files for functions to be used in R are called 'packages' (similar to sas) if I remember right and are so extensive that this test should be available for download (I don't remember if my colleague wrote his own package or if he got it from there). Additionally they have extensive support (faq, forum, manuals) which will it make not too difficult to find help.
