intracellular compartments - (Aug/12/2004 )

Hi everyone!

I would like to know if it is possible to isolate the genetic material contained in intracellular compartments (such as non-lysosomal compartments) by using commercial kits (e.g. QIAGEN)??

There are kits available to extract compartments, but I don't understand what kind of genetic material you want to extact from them...
Do you mean DNA?? It would then be pretty hard...
