small volume spectrophotometrical protein quantification - (Mar/12/2008 )

Hi all, we are planning spectrophotometrical measurements with very small volume protein samples (around 1 µl). We have heard that the NanoPhotometer performs very good in handling such samples. Has any one tried the NanoPhotometer with protein and/or DNA/RNA samples? What is your experience?

yeah we have been using that instruments for more than a year. it works well but not accurate. better to take few readings and take the mean. but very easy and very quick to use. the fluctuation i got is usually 10-20ng/ul for DNA and RNA
