Can anyone recommend a good thermocycler? - (Mar/04/2008 )
Hi,
I have the fun task of spending someone else's money on a new thermocycler for the lab. At the moment we have a few MJ Research PTC 100 Thermal Cyclers which work well, but it would be nice to have a machine that is perhaps a little more modern:-)
Can any of you recommend a good, reliable, relatively easy to use cycler? Also, are there any thermocyclers which you would not recommend?
Thanks in advance,
Bunsen

In this section of bioforum there are several threads about the topic.

MJ is no longer in production. BioRad bought them over. You can check on that section.
