Do I need Gradient Thermal Cycler? - (Feb/27/2008 )

Pages: Previous 1 2 3

I normally have to setup, develop and optimize about 10 to 40 different new PCRs per year so gradient capability is definetly wanted and warranted. I had money limitations (perhaps even more than you have) and ended up buying a gradient thermocycler from Axygen 8Maxygene). It is cheap, definetly a workhorse and not terribly bad on aesthetics. I am so pleased with price, capability, uniformity and robustness and have bought a second one (and will buy a third one this January). I recommend you at least give your chance to check this intrsument out. BTW, no relationship whatsoever with Axygene. Best.
