stimulation of cell division/mitosis? - of non-dividing exocrine cells (Feb/16/2008 )

we have isolated a type of exorine epithelial cells which have a natural short life and normally do not divide;

yet, what could be tried to trigger mitosis?

Hi,
In this paper, they used TERT and sv40 LT for primary human BJ fibroblasts.

without having read the paper, isn´t it just for immortalization?

Bj cell proliferation arrest is p53 dependent. so they used LT to inactivate p53.
