Someone has a good protocol to digestion and decontamination with N-acetyl-L-cysteine-NaOH?

Note: the sample is sputum (bacterium).

actually i dont know how does it work...
but we use it in the lab with sputum samples
in order to make them less viscous

u are most welcome
u'll find that before adding it,u can't take the desired amount of the sputum
..but after the addition..life goes easily
