reviving corneal cell line - (Jan/30/2008 )

hey frnds

can anyone tell me the protocol to revive human corneal cell line..........or any cell line which requires serum free media

i usually used serum based media initially.....later switched it to serum free media for subculturing....only in case of human corneal cell line with the help of flask coated with fibronectin, BSA, and collagen..........but recently i m finding difficult to revive it....it deattaches after 1 or 2 days..what might be the reason?????

I had the same problem. Anyone have good experience with HCE-2 culture? Other question I have -can insulin be substituted with insulin-transferrin-selenuium as suppliment to this cell?
