Growing T47D breast cancer cells - grow slowly or quickly? (Jan/30/2008 )

Just considering purchasing T47D cells for some proliferation, apoptosis experiments. Anyone have experience on how easy or tough they are to grow???? Thanks in advance!

easy to grow. double ever 24 hours or so.
they are cute little things that are ER+.
from memory, i think i grew them in DMEM with 10% FBS, pen-strep-glut.

Yep, they're hearty little growers, but I guess that's breast cancer for you!
