How do I prepare 200uM (micromolar) plasma concentration of tranexamic acid. I need it for a study. Tranexamic acid is available at 100mg/ml preparation. How much blood do I add to make a 200uM plasma concentration of it. Thanks

unless you are using a salt, the formula weight of tranexamic acid is 157.21.

so your 100mg/ml solution is ~636mM.

you will need to dilute it 3180x to get 200uM.
