number of Cos7 cells on a 10cm plate - (Jan/24/2008 )

Does anyone know the approximate number of Cos7 cells in a 10cm plate? (for 100% confluency)

the roche lab faqs claims there are approx 7x10⁶ in a 10 cm plate for 3T3, HeLa or CHO cells, so I guess Cos7 will be approx the same, although the safest way is to count them yourself of course

From my experiences with Cos7, there should be ~2.1 x 107 cells in a 10 cm dish.
