expression of a two subunits receptor - (Jan/15/2008 )

Hello, i need help for the expression of a two subunits receptor. I'd like to express the two subunits separately, one in an expression vector and the other in another expression vector but i prefer to use a vector with a flurescent tag (e.g. the gene for EGFP), in this way my protein could be fluorescent without using fluorescent antibodies. If these two subunits interact (and it is almost sure) could the fluorescent tag be a problem? thank you!

With a fusion protein, one can not be sure how the fluorescent protein will influence the behavior of a particular protein. One has to try them out to know for sure.
