SYBR green concentration for qPCR - (Jan/15/2008 )
Hi, does anyone know the concentration of SYBR green that's used for qPCR. SYBR green kits are already optimized so most people don't have to bother with this, but I have to try I "make my own" so any advice will be more than appreciated.
Thanks!!!

1x SYBR Green I in real-time PCR = 1.96 uM.
Since SG I is sold as 10,000x, a preliminary dilution should be prepared in DMSO (for greatear stability) before preparing your 10x buffer with 10x SYBR Green I. Note that most SYBR master mixes contain extra magnesium.
