Whoops - used N-lauroylsarcosine instead of sarcosine! - What will this do to my chip-chip hybridisation!?! (Jan/08/2008 )

Ooops!
In all the excitement of my first chip-chip hyb I used the detergent (N-lauroylsarcosine) in my hyb mix instead of sarcosine!!!

Does anyone know what the sarcosine is for in the hyb mix and will my hyb be totally ruined??!!

I scanned my slide after the above mentioned mistake and it still worked!!! There was a bit of background, but all was not totally lost! So it turns out that adding 5X more detergent, not adding sarcosine and forgetting to pH the MES buffer didn't turn out to be the disaster I thought it would be!
