polystyrene or polypropylene tubes during transfection - (Jan/04/2008 )
During lentiviral packaging in HEK293, how important is it to use polystyrene instead of polypropylene tubes? Would anyone happen to know what the difference is? Thank you.

PPE tubes are more hydrophobic and stick more lipid-DNA complexes onto its surface than PS tubes do.
