Other Side of AIDS - World AIDS day....??? (Dec/01/2007 )
December 1st being World's AIDS's day...there is strong notion out there the entire HIV-AIDS movement going in the wrong direction driven by big money and correlation between HIV and AIDS has'nt been fully established.

Here is link to a 87min video called "OTHER SIDE OF AIDS"....i really don't know what to make out of all these, so let me know what ya'll think.
Hi,
I have watched the video. It`s quite interesting.
Well I don't watch that yet (too big for my home internet connection) but as far as I know people have been questioning anything from holocaust to usefullness of vaccination, so the only fact that someone out there has shot a video about doubts is not much shocking. (though I would appreciate if someone could point some important stuff said there)
If there is the main reason of doubt the fact that not everyone who has HIV actually gets AIDS in a normal time or at all, doesn't necessary support the idea it's not connected. It is an "immunodefficiency" virus, and since we know how our immune system is complex and not fully understood yet, means there are other factors in the game.
But I think it has been proven enough that without HIV there is no AIDS. And that HIV attacks our modulator T-lymfocytes and other cells, which could lead to AIDS. It tampers with our immunity and in most cases it ends in immunodefficiency. If there are people who survive that for any reason, good for them. And it should be studied to better understand why, etc.
But what are the consequences really, that people shouldn't take care when having sex, transfusions souldn't care for virus, we shouldn't inform developing world about risks? Now that would be VERY stupid.
Maybe they should tell infected people "hey, you have a ...% chance you won't die", but mostly it isn't that case anyway.
