How can I resuspend membrane proteins for further inmunizations? - (Nov/27/2007 )

I'm working with membrane proteins from mycoplasmas and I have obtained it by partition of TX-114.
Now, I need to immunize animals with the membrane proteins. The protocol that I have found implicate further purifications by SDS-PAGE, but I wish to find a way to avoid the purification by SDS-PAGE and also I need to resuspend the membrane proteins in a suitable buffer for further immunizations.

a PBS should be ok! pH and physiological salt concentrations.
