lentiviral vector cloning problem - (Nov/11/2007 )

Hello everyone,
I am trying to subclone a gene into a lentiviral vector. After transformation into DH5alpha E. cloi, I got reasonable number of colonies. However, I could not isolate any plasmid from the transformants. The miniprep kit is OK. Competent cell is not contaminated. Ampicilin is ok. Is it possible that the plasmid integrated into the E. coli genome?
Thanks!

I use another batch of competent cell and everything seen ok.
