HIV - (Nov/07/2007 )

Hi,

Just wondering when virus RNA is transcripted to DNA and intergrates into the host chromosome...what chromosome is it actually? Like chrom 9,10,11 etc etc...? or is it just random?

its random

you have the same "problem" whenever you use a virus as a vector to transfect cells cause it could overwrite something important.

Over write?? I think the correct term would be disrupt tongue.gif I'm also pretty sure a quick search on google will turn up the life cycle of any retrovirus.
